It was quite fun to talk to them. We were excited to talk to another country. They talked Spanish well. We did a presentation about our school and did in Spanishteh story of “Little Red Riding Hood”. We practised a lot of to do it perfectly.

Mitzi, our language assistant, helped us a lot and we had a lot of fun.

January 30th - School Day of Peace and Non-Violence
The School Day of Peace and Non-Violence was first celebrated in 1964. It emerged from Spanish professor Llorenc Vidal’s non-governmental, independent and volunteer pioneer initiative, Non-Violent and Peaceful Education. Its objective is to educate for and about tolerance, solidarity, agreement and respect for Human Rights, non-violence and peace. On this day, primary and secondary schools turn into instruments of peace and understanding among people of distinct occupations, races, cultures and religions.
The basic message of this day is: “Universal Love, Non-Violence and Peace

Also , the
 January 30th commemorates the death of the national and spiritual leader of India, Mahatma Gandhi, who was shot and killed by a fanatical Hindu on January 30th, 1948.

¡¡¡Ayer estuvimos en el Zoo !!!Vimos un montón de animales y además asistimos al espectáculo de leones marinos, estuvimos viendo a los delfines y realizamos un taller donde aprendimos un montón de cosas sobre los lémures. Nos acompañaron Brenda y Lizzy, las auxiliares de conversación del cole, nos contaron cosas de los animales en inglés y nos hicieron muchas preguntas sobre los animales que habíamos visto y sus características ¡Echad un vistazo a nuestras fotos !
